NEBRASCOE has adopted some rules that differ from the NW Area and National criteria. Our State NEBRASCOE Scholarship program is independent of the National NASCOE scholarship program and is available to eligible Nebraska applicants only. However, Nebraska is using the same application form as is used for the National NASCOE scholarship.
The Nebraska criterion for members only requires that the member be an FSA employee with the current year membership dues paid. NEBRASCOE established a policy that previous state scholarship winners are not eligible to reapply. Previous applicants are encouraged to reapply for awards as long as they meet all other criteria. Applications will be judged on work experience, scholastic, extra curricular, and community service.
